MILESHIFT REPORT CONTACT THE PUBLICATION
Contact MileShift Report
Corrections, source submissions, contributor pitches and advertising inquiries. Send a clear message to the publication using the form below.
Send an inquiry
Name, email, subject and message are required. Page URL is optional. Please do not include sensitive personal or payment information.
Corrections and source submissions
Use the subject “Editorial correction” when a page appears wrong, outdated or unsupported. Enter the article address in Page URL, identify the exact passage in Message and explain the proposed change. Add a link to the strongest original source, including its date or document reference when helpful.
For vehicle or component information, specify the model year, market, engine or part number that the source actually covers. A document about another market may not establish the same fact for a US vehicle. You can also send a useful source without alleging an error: explain which question it helps answer. Our Fact-Checking & Corrections page describes the review standard and distinguishes factual corrections from later updates.
Contributor pitches
Use the subject “Contributor pitch” for an original automotive story proposal. Send a working headline, a short outline, the question readers will learn to answer and the original sources you plan to use. Explain your relevant experience and disclose any client, employer, sponsor or AI assistance connected with the work.
Read the contributor guidelines before preparing a full draft. This form accepts a text summary and links, not manuscript attachments. A pitch is not a paid assignment or a guarantee of acceptance. If the proposal is sponsored promotion, identify that at the outset instead of presenting it as independent reporting.
Advertising and sponsorship inquiries
Use the subject “Advertising inquiry” and identify your company, the advertiser you represent and the product or service. Include a destination URL, preferred format, proposed dates, target geography and campaign objective. An indicative budget can help define a practical scope, but do not send payment details.
The Advertising & Sponsorship page explains the formats and disclosure standards. Availability, deliverables, price and terms need to be agreed before booking. Sending a message does not purchase a placement, a favorable editorial conclusion or a search ranking.
Website questions and what not to send
For a broken link or display problem, provide the affected page address, device or browser and a short description of what happened. For a question about an affiliate disclosure, identify the recommendation and link concerned. A descriptive subject makes the purpose of your message clearer.
Share only information needed to explain the request. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, unredacted customer records or confidential business files. If a document contains sensitive information, describe its relevance first instead of copying private details into this general form.
After you send a message
Name, Email, Subject and Message are required; Page URL is optional. Check the email address carefully if you would like a reply. The form sends your entry to the website, where it is stored for the publication; it is not a local-only tool. The site also attempts an email notification to its administrator. A recorded-message confirmation does not establish that this email reached an inbox or that someone has read your message.
There is no guaranteed response time or outcome. Keep a copy of your message for reference. If the page reports an error, check the required fields and reload the contact page before trying again. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same inquiry after a confirmation.
MileShift Report is an automotive publication, not a repair shop, roadside-assistance service or seller handling third-party orders. Do not wait for a reply about an urgent safety issue. Direct repairs, warranty decisions and merchant order problems to the appropriate service provider.
